King Raiderette
King Raiderette is the Raiderette’s annual charity fundraiser. Guys from our school raise money through the week, come to practice, learn a dance, and then perform with us at a men’s varsity basketball game. The guy that raises the most money is crowned King! Runner-up will be crowned Prince. Last year this event raised over $16,000!
This year all money donated will go to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Our why for this organization is Devin Kiser, cousin to one of our seniors, Felicity Resendes. Devin battled leukemia for over half of his 10-year life before succumbing to treatment effects in March 2022. A 4-time cancer warrior and bone marrow transplant recipient, Devin was courageous and strong and inspired so many to see light in the darkness.
