Mrs. Astuto

Hi everyone! My name is Erin Astuto. This is my 10th year teaching at Reagan! I graduated from UNCG with my BFA in Dance with K-12 Licensure and had amazing experience there including studying abroad in Northern Ireland and performing at the Kennedy Center. I love a good jazz or contemporary class, but tap forever has my heart. My husband, Kevin, and I have a 3 year old son, Owen, and our daughter Lainey was just born in March! They are the best kiddos ever, and fun fact - they have the same birthday! We also have two Golden Retrievers, Norbert and Luna, who are named after Harry Potter characters because we are proud nerds. I also really love chicken minis, burgers, Jesus, and Gilmore Girls but not necessarily in that order. I'm known in our department for making really cheesy jokes, catch phrases and puns, ab series that are hated by everyone (including myself), and hating on anyone who doesn't eat pineapple on pizza. Also, bonus points to anyone who can keep track of how many times I say, "does this make sense?" throughout the year. I am so blessed to work in this department and be a part of this special community.

Ms. Kinne
Danielle Kinne, originally from California, attended Interlochen Arts Academy (Interlochen, MI) with scholarship, for four years before receiving her BFA in Dance Performance at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and her MFA in Choreography with K-12 licensure in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While living in Philadelphia, she danced for independent choreographers/artists such as Merian Soto, Marianela Boan (BoanDanzAction), Megan Mazarick, and Abigail Zbikowski and was a company member of the Leah Stein Dance Company for seven years. She has choreographed and performed as part of Philly Fringe Festival, the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, Bates Dance Festival, Lincoln Center's Outdoor performances, Winston- Salem’s Ruby Slipper Fringe Festival Performance Series, the North Carolina Dance Festival and the Greensboro FRINGE festival . Ms. Kinne was also a recipient of the SPARK! Fund Grant in 2017. Danielle has taught as adjunct faculty at Coker College and UNC-Greensboro, and has been a guest Choreographer and teacher with Dance Projects, Interlochen Arts Academy/Camp, and for WSFCS student events 2016-2025.  She obtained her (200 hour) certification in yoga, and is currently the head coach of the North Forsyth High School Valkyries Dance Team. She is excited to join the Reagan High School Dance Department and loves coffee, tacos and chocolate. Ms. Kinne has two dogs that light up her life, and she lives in Greensboro.
