Raiderette tryouts for the 2024-2025 season will be held in the Reagan High School main gym April 23rd - April 26th from 4-6pm each day. Please note that this team has the intentions of going to the National Dance Team Championship in Walt Disney World January 31st - February 2nd, 2025.

Required Skills
Advanced dance technique specifically in jazz and hip hop
Double & triple pirouette (right & left)
Right & left leaps
A la second turns – at least 4 turns into a double pirouette (right)
*Recommended: combination second turns (ex: floats, reverse changing spots, around the worlds)
Center/side leaps (right & left)
Calypso (right & left)
Tilt jump (right)
Switch arabesque (brush the right leg across first)
Firebird (right leg in front)
Alternating kicks for sidelines and kicklines
Special skills such as an tumbling or hip hop tricks are welcome and can be showcased at tryouts!
